  • 500g chicken, cut into pieces

  • 2 onions, finely chopped

  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped

  • 2 green chilies, slit

  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder

  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala

  • Salt to taste

  • Handful of microgreens for garnish


Step 1

Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown.

Step 2

Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for a couple of minutes.

Step 3

Add tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.

Step 4

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the oil separates.

Step 5

Add chicken pieces and coat them well with the masala. (Can add a paste of freshly grinded microgreens to add color to the dish)

Step 6

Cover and cook until the chicken is tender.

Step 7

Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.

Step 8

Garnish with plenty of microgreens to add a burst of unique flavors before serving.
